Nubra Valley

Pangong Tso
Pangong Tso, the world’s highest saltwater lake, is a mesmerizing destination known for its stunning colors that shift between shades of blue, green, and grey throughout the day. Located at an altitude of 4,350 meters, the lake offers breathtaking reflections of snow-capped peaks. At night, the star-studded sky and the Milky Way create a magical spectacle. The journey to Pangong via Chang La, the world’s third-highest motorable pass, adds to the adventure.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Arrive at Leh Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude and resting. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Leh

Explore the enchanting sights of Leh, including Magnetic Hill, Pathar Saheb Gurudwara, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Sangam, the Hall of Fame Museum, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley

Embark on a journey to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the world’s highest motorable pass at 19,350 ft. Visit Diskit Monastery, famous for its Future Buddha statue, and explore the sand dunes of Hunder, where you can spot double-humped camels. Overnight stay at a hotel in Nubra.

Day 4: Nubra Valley (Turtuk Village)

Visit Turtuk Village, located near the India-PoK border and renowned for its dry fruit production. Discover the unique culture of this region, which was opened to Indian visitors only recently. Return to Hunder for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Travel to Pangong Lake via the Agam-Shayok road. Pangong Tso, the world’s highest saltwater lake, is famous for its vibrant hues and breathtaking landscapes. Spend the night at a hotel near the lake.

Day 6: Pangong Lake to Leh

Return to Leh via Chang La Pass, the world’s third-highest motorable pass at 17,600 ft. On the way, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Hemis Monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 7: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.

Cancellation Charges:

  • 25% if canceled 15+ days before travel.
  • 50% if canceled 10–15 days before travel.
  • 75% if canceled 7–10 days before travel.
  • No refund if canceled within 7 days.
